ISO 22000:2018 specifies the requirements for food safety systems and provides an internationally accepted framework for any organization in the food chain. This standard was developed by ISO experts from the food industry, together with international organizations’ representatives in cooperation with the Codex Alimentarius Commission, established by FAO and WHO for the development of food standards.
An important result is that ISO 22000 makes the Codex HACCP system implementation somewhat easier for organizations to achieve food safety in a harmonious way, despite the country or the food considered.
ENAXIS (formerly ISOKEY) offers the following modules to support this standard implementation:
- Risk analysis
- Processes (Maps and flow charts)
- Document control
- Indicators
- Audits
- Non-conformities / Corrective and preventive actions
